What Partara sees, and what happens to it.

Desk works by signing in to your accounts and using them. While it is signed in it can see everything you can see in those accounts: your posts, your comments, your messages, the names and handles of the people who wrote them, and whatever numbers the platform shows you.

It reads all of it, on purpose. That is how it learns to write like you and how it answers a question about your business correctly. A tool that read a sample would give you answers drawn from a sample.

To sign in as you, Partara has to hold your sign-in details. They are encrypted, they are used for nothing except signing in to that one platform, and no person here reads them.

Where a platform offers a way to give access without handing over a password, Partara uses that instead. Where it does not, there is no way around it, and you should weigh that before you set an account up.

The messages Desk reads were written by your customers, not by you. Their names, handles and anything they told you sit inside your account and are visible to Desk while it is answering them.

That information is used to answer those people and to show you your own inbox. It is not sold, not shared with other Partara customers, and not used to advertise to them.

Your content is used to write your posts and your replies. It is not used to train a general model, and it is not pooled with anyone else’s.

The platforms themselves, because that is where your accounts live. The company whose model writes the words, for the length of time it takes to write them. Payment processing, for your subscription — we never see your card number.

Nobody else. There is no data broker in this list and never will be.

Cancel and the sign-in details are deleted, along with everything Desk read. The accounts stay yours, including the ones Desk created for you — the followers, the posts and the history go with them.

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted without cancelling, at any time.

The marketing pages set no advertising cookies and run no third-party trackers. Signing in sets one cookie, which is what keeps you signed in.
